If the latest date on the back of your coaches card is 05/06, your coaches card will expire December 31, 2008. Please make sure to sign up for the appropriate class in order to obtain a current card. For classes check on the District 15 website or Minnesota Hockey. You can also check with Jim Thompson.
The following CEP levels are required: Level 1 - Mite, 8 & Under. Level 2 - Squirt, 10 & Under. Level 3 - Pee Wee, Bantam, 12 & Under, Jr. Gold, 14 & Under, 16 & Under, 19 & Under. If you do not get this certification you will not be allowed to coach this year. AAHA will reimburse the cost of these coaching clinics, remember to keep receipts.
All coaches with the level 2 (associate) coaching certification must attend the level 3 intermediate coaching clinic. (Associate level certifications and intermediate levels are valid for three years.) DON'T MISS OUT!!! If you are at a level 3 (intermediate) you can take a level 3 or level 4 clinic or you can recertify on-line.

The Hockey Assocation maintains a catalog of video tapes avaiable to coaches / managers. Contact Jim Thompson @ 763-9470 to check on availability. There is no cost to use the video tapes.
